Within easy reach of the hotel by public transport, LaM presents over 7,000 masterpieces from the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as numerous temporary exhibitions. It offers a unique journey from modern to contemporary art, including the largest collection of art brut in France.
Since the beginning of October 2024, the LAM has been closed for renovation work to improve the reception and comfort of visitors.
Nonetheless, during this period, the museum remains close to its audiences, offering a rich off-site program throughout the European Metropolis of Lille, the Hauts-de-France region and beyond.
The LaM team looks forward to welcoming you to its reopening in February 2026 with an exceptional exhibition dedicated to Vassily Kandinsky, organized in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
